The uNet100 developers kit gives the ability to train/test custom applications prior to production manufacturing.  Interfaces are supported for PC host monitoring of network output response and alarm activity.  Device configuration is achieved through a standard ISP 6 pin port compatible with all Atmel AVR EEPROM programming equipment.  NetBuilderLite program produces a Intel hex format file image of the configuration data which is then programmed into device EEPROM using 3rd party device.  uNet100 can be powered directly from host RS232 port if sufficent output current is available but depends on computer port.
